Job Description

You will be part a young and dynamic Development team. As BI Consultant you will have the following responsibilities:

• You will be involved in software implementation projects: in the area of making data accessible and use of data
• You will develop specific projects concerning data conversion, reporting and data extraction
• You will make the project plan for specific requests: fix deadlines, make up a budget, follow-up of the project...
• You will understand the client’s needs and requests, translate them into solutions, identify gaps, make the process- and requirement analysis, the functional and technical analysis, make up all changes
• You will analyze the different available technologies, choose the most appropriate one and develop the reports
• You will test the developed reports, before the implementation
• You will provide after implementation support

Your Profile

• you have a Masters’ or bachelors degree, preferably in IT or economics or equivalent
• you have a good understanding of economic/financial organization processes and are able to analyze these processes in order to place the client's requests in a broader perspective
• knowledge of JasperReports or JasperSoft BI tools (or any other BI tool) is a plus
• you have experience in making functional and technical analyses
• you are methodical and organized, you have the ability to document clearly and methodically
• you are an excellent team player and able to work independently
• you have a critical mind and a high sensitiveness for quality, you work very precisely
• you are flexible and stress-resistant
• you have good written and oral communication skills and you communicate fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus
• knowledge of the leasing business is a plus
